Just when you are having a bad day......

So, yesterdsy was a really bad day for me. I looked on our bank account yesterday afternoon to a shock of no and I mean no money in either account, checking or savings. So of course, I freaked out and called Larry and we got on the computer and looked at our accounts to make sure no one had been able to have access to our accounts besides us. Well.....they had not and to both of our faults and poor money management by both of us, we were BROKE!!!!!! After the shock, I called my parents and like the wonderful parents they are, they saved the day by transferring some money to us until we get paid as well as my father-in-law offering money. Okay so, immediate crisis fixed and better money management will now begin. Now, my horror was put into perspective today in a very real way. For those of you that remember, Larry is a fireman and one of his firemen and very dear friends, got killed in August when a tree fell on him and crushed him. Well, yesterday, his widow, showed up at the firestation crying and hysterical because February 12th is her and Brian's 5 year anniversary. Wow.....talk about feeling like an idiot!!!! I am upset about something so small compared to her who does not have a husband any more and two small boys to raise, ALONE!!!! Just when you think that you are having a hard time, step back and look, it could always be worse. Satan brings things into our lives all the time that are hard for us to deal with and he is always tempting and trying us. But God, always has a lesson in these trials and tribulations and also teaches us that he is with us always and sometimes our trials are not so big compared to others peoples.

Sorry about the money mixup. That can happen to anyone.

    Don't sweat the small stuff.

    Best,
